Here's the boy and his Fish:

boys_fish.jpg

Went fishing today around the mobile-pensacola area. Caught some nice trout and some reds. Just got done having a fish fry about 10 minutes ago.

:agree:
he looks like he is proud of his catch.....nice fish

Yup he was happy, I took pic's and measurements, and I'm looking for a place to make him up a mount one of those fake fiberglass fish type deals. Looks like the real thing but without all the grief of having the real thing.

Btw, him and his mom ate it, LOL.

I was just thinking , for a thread about fishing there sure arent many pics of fish. Atleast take pics of the empty beer cans.

This what I do in my "spare" time. HA! Warning! don't be drinking anything if you decide surf around on the site. You'll probably spit up.

The Lakanookie Fishin' Lodge | Life is good on the Bayou

I could be in there some where. Enjoy the pictures. I'll making two trips to Mexico this year, one for marlin and one for snook.

Not going to tell a tall tale of how big this bass was or how bad the weather was ...............but the shoe in the pic is a 19 EE :D:D:D:D

Topwater in december in Fayetteville GA

Where did you find that guy (fly)?
I live down here near BassProShop and was fishing lake tobesofkee today and man the bass was active but couldn't seem to find the right lure to get them to take it.

yeah they are active as heck right now
I have to either hit them right on the nose or 2 foot to either side and 10 foot past them with a slower small strip and longer leader

"The Fish Hawk"...Atlanta.....call with credit card in hand and they will ship (plus just a little cheaper)
"Alpharetta Outfitter" in Alpharetta (not sure of their ordering method)

Booglebug (any color but dark green ) great results on bass and bream and 1 jack fish
stealth bomber fly.....chartreuse all the way .Bass mostly....medium bream to small cant grab the hook
but these cast better with a 5/6 wt pole and i have had to get the 9 foot 15 to 20 pound test bass or bone fish leader

I live on the south side
and there is no fly shops around here at all.
but if I'm ever around one I always stop
(which there are 4 on the northside )
if you want i can pick up some more next week
(got to get some more anyway)

have you noticed as well that bass pro
still wants to sell trout flys when there are no trout in your area

and if you get up near "high falls" ( maybe halfway between you and Atlanta)
I hear that they have "2 handed" bream
and I hear good things from the Albany area

oh be sure that you tell them the WT of your rod
