My last "fishing trip"

Id love to hear some of the ways you prepare your fish guys. :drool:

For most fish my basic prep and cook recipe is:
Little salt both sides
Little pepper (White)
Lots of butter
Optional squeeze of lemon or other citrus
Optional brown sugar

Wrap it up in tin foil like a boat leaving space/hollow inside to steam.
Bake/grill as needed per fish and weight.

Unwrap and serve. Careful not to get any on your head, you tongue will beat your brains out trying to get it.

Beyond above you can go crazy.
Add seasoning, herbs, spices, veggies, toss is a strip or two of bacon (apple wood).
Sprinkle a little parmesan shake cheese in the can like for spaghetti, on it with the above recipe minus the citrus and sugar.
Italian dressing or other dressing instead of butter, honey mustard, you name it.

I just recently had this Parmesan Crusted Talapia. It was delicous. Ive used Italian Dressing for chicken before but never thought of it for fish. Hmmmm.

I try to stay away from alot of fried stuff but that sounds very tempting. Why I never thought of adding in some bacon astounds me. :drool: I was thinking more campfire recipes but I think this one deserves a taste test at home.

didn't go last 2 weeks.......hog hunting instead
funny how they cause so much destruction but we couldn't track them down

Took Two wounder warriors out today and this guy had a blast...his first trip offshore.... 2 big kings, 3 amberjack, 2 Mani mahi, 25+ grouper ( that weren't in season) and one big snapper and a few smaller ones. Had a good day.
The only bad was Lost a rod and reel and had to come home on one engine

The only bad was Lost a rod and reel and had to come home on one engine

Thats just awesome about the wounded warriors deal. The engine and rod , not so much.
