This thing has massive 13.8 discs on it and 9/16 wheel studs

I seriously recommend this as a great axle for a Jeep, it super beefy, easy to build (threaded adjusters on the carrier bearings)no gear ratio break on the carrier, was in continuous production from 1968-2010 has a 3.5 inch diameter axle tube

Looks like it’s all coming together nicely.

Well the Goodyears are off and up for sale

These 35-10.5s look so good on a CJ

9 inch rims are perfect width for these tires

Hard to believe i put this t case together in 2010/11 and havent touched it since

I keep forgetting how heavy a D300 is until you try to pull it out from under a jeep with both outputs trying to spin

I very lightly polished my front shifter rail and added 2 #6 washers under the spring

I find it easier to assemble the intermediate shaft with a dowel and tacky grease to hold the roller bearings in place as well as 2 1 1/4 dowels on the ends holding the washers in place

I finally got my Novak cover, maybe one day i can get that super short novak output

Im also wondering if i could just redrill the output on my trans or the input of my tcase and ditch the rotation ring…. That would make it almost 3 inches shorter

Do you really need the clocking ring…
