Lumpy - Most of my old hunting, back roads driving friends are dead and gone now. So, I go alone all the time, if not I wouldn't go at all. Not crying in my beer (O'douls as it were), it's just the way it is.

You shouldn't wheel alone as mentioned, you have an opportunity to go with a good group of guys on the 7th trip. Just do it.

I'm 65, so I know well of what you say.
That's also why I belong to a 4WD club.
My Jeep is older than a couple of the members.....
I'm one of only a couple of 'carbed' Jeeps in the club. Only a couple of other CJ's also.
