Start a heart transplant mid November with LS1 and SM465 :-)
Has anyone swaped a SR4 for a SM465 on a 1980 CJ5 4 cyl?

If so what throw out bearing did you use?

Novak makes an adjustable throwout bearing for AMC engines. It is their part # TB2 and is about $100 on their web site.

You could also check this link for a list and sizing chart: Bearing Chart

Thanks for the link,

I will have to talk with Jeff at Novak again, he was the one that said there were several lengths of throw out bearings.

The 4 cyl Iron duke is a GM motor and the SM465 is a GM transmission. He mentioned I could use the same stuff except the throw out bearing.

Got myself mixed up while digging on their web site. Their part # TB1 is the adjustable bearing for GM engines.
