CJ spring Trail run....Excursion to Moab!!

Posi and Bass installing a new clutch. Actually we all helped at some point. Some tweaking calibration done on BillD's new speedhut cluster gauge. That sure is a nice unit.

Installing the skid plate. Filling some body holes that were covered with gorrila tape. Then off on a trail ride.

Shooby got stranded due to snow, high winds and road closures. Fridays shake down trail ride. We went up to " Old Baldy", yes that's a place. It was very cold, high winds and snowing at times. I didn't even get out of the Jeep once and we have a heater.

Shooby made it for our Saturday ride. Yay! A once over check of all jeeps then off we go.

That's a nice '63 CJ5. Looks stock including an overdrive. I was drooling over it.

Today's trail ride: Sorry I only have two pictures. We had a great time and our Jeep performed well. Airing down and on the trail. Hopefully someone else will post something.

Finished working on the jeeps Friday and did some trails. We ran Old Stage Rd and Mt Baldy.
Yesterday we ran Hacket Gulch.
It was a nice day with clear view around. We found some fun obstacles to play on.
I was driving and spotting so didn’t have a chance to take any pics of folks wheeling.
Plenty of Elk was seen.

Nice pictures thanks. Been a while since I've seen a herd. It's amazing how many roads in the west are now called Old Stage Road. My sister lived on one in So-Ore.
