Although MSD is more expensive, you get what you pay for.

Stay away from solid wire type. The RFI generated is terrible.
I use the top line wires(Beldon from NAPA)with my MSD, and all has worked well for many years now.
Just make sure the new dizzy cap has brass terminals and NOT alum.
