Hi all- I'm very new to all of this and I am eager to learn about my Jeep and how to better maintain it.

I realized my rear bushings on the driver side are ripped and the shackles are coming apart because of it. My question is, should I replace both rear bushings or just the damaged one? I was forced to buy 4 bushings as I couldn't find the part individually and my mechanic is advising I replace both. Financially it's only $80 so I don't mind doing it if it's necessary.

Thank you.

I recommend doing both. If one is bad the other isn't far behind.

Why not just replace ALL of the bushings and be done with it?

Get the greaseable type. You won't regret it.
