that car isnt supposed to steer, just go really fast (I have seen a VW with a chevy V8 in before out on the street and it took a minute to realize that it was a VW)

There is a guy in Northern NV that has a VW bug that he stuffed a 454 Chevy under the stock hood!
Funny thing is, to make room for the Rat, he removed the dash and put it where the front seats used to be. He literally drives it from the back seat!
And yes its completely street-able. He drives it to work every other day.

I used to race against a VW sitting on 40" tires, but I dunno how it was built, or what drivetrain it had. Sweet looking rig, tho.
