Decode vin tag?

The idea was dreamed up by Joseph James Doherty, a long-time Owens Corning executive. It was under his direction that the cartoon mascot was adopted. His daughter recounts that this was his crowning achievement while working for Owens Corning.

i have a question on the vin tags. my tag is like the pic of the pink jeep on the trailer, vin on top and everything below it. But mine does not say toldeo jeep on it, and i see a lot that do? what is the difference? 1985 CJ7

Several manufacturers of vin tags were used so they do not all look exactly the same. As long as the 11th digit is T your CJ was not produced in China...
