Help!
My 7 has been sitting for a long time, and I want to prime the oil pump with a drill before I start the engine again. Any idea if any of the priming tools out there will engage with the 4.2's oil pump shaft? Which one do I need?

Thanks much!

I used the blade of a flat head screwdriver into a drill motor after removing the handle

Yup, This worked for me too.^^^

The screwdriver blade deal has work'd for me for many years.
Just don't go crazy with the drill speed at first.

I have used the cut off screwdriver for years. I slip a 3/8" drive deep socket of whatever size just fits over the pump drive shaft before putting it into the drill chuck. That way the blade can't slip off the oil pump drive shaft and cause damage.
