Hello All, I'm new to this forum, but not new to modding. Decided to build the Jeep I always wanted when I was younger. I haven't finished yet, but this forum seemed to be a wealth of information. Thought I'd join up and take a look.
I have over 350 pics of this all the way from just tires to where it is today. I'll just post a few key moments as all pics would fill up the forum LOL!








She's got a TDK A500 steel frame, 6.2L LS3 Gen 4 500HP, New Tremec TR-4050 5 Speed, New Atlas 3.00: Transfer Case , Dana 60 4.10 rear, Dana 44 Front 4.10 front, and True Tracs front and rear. Started the project last March. Been going well so far. I'll post more pics when it's closer to finished provided I don't run into major road blocks. LOL!

Beautiful! Are the axles factory wide track width or did you go wider?

56" rear and 57" front. So basically wide track factory width.

Seats finally arrived...ordered 2" wider, a little nervous on the fit with the console. Guess I'll find out!

Those look nice. What model are those ?

@Belizean Those are the Mastercraft Safety "Baja RS" with the Adjustable Headrest and back seat pocket options. I ordered them 2" wider, but now that I have the doors on, I think they will be a tight fit with the console. Hopefully the narrower console will accomodate them. I really like the feel of the seat just sitting in them out of the vehicle. This is the console I am putting in with the Kenwood Audio system. It incorporates an 8" subwoofer and amp.

Yeah I left the pull strap off on my metal YJ 1/2 doors I have because they were sticking into my leg. Don’t need it anyway, so no loss.

what does your belly pan look like with the TR4050? I've been thinking about switching to that Transmission but worried about how tall it is. My current belly pan is only 3". I can see you already cut a good bit to fit it. Great looking build!
