Part of the Hemi engine is getting bigger - but it won't affect horsepower. DaimlerChrysler thinks that your Hemi needs to be bigger. But it's not the Hemi engine that we're talking about, it's the Hemi emblem on the exterior of your Jeep that will increase in size. Why are we writing about this? We're not sure, but it seems like just the thing for a Monday morning. Here's a snippet: Chrysler Group is building a bigger, better HEMI badge. "By increasing the size of the HEMI badge, we’re building awareness and helping our customers communicate what they’re packing under the hood," said George Murphy – Senior Vice President, Chrysler Group Marketing. "With more than 500,000 sold, the HEMI V-8 engine continues to resonate with consumers. The HEMI has become a brand within our brands. Across our Chrysler, Jeep® and Dodge lineups, the take-rate for the HEMI is 44 percent." For Chrysler 300, Dodge Magnum and Jeep Grand Cherokee, the HEMI badge will increase 145 percent in size. For Dodge Ram and Durango, the size of the HEMI badge will increase 136 percent. Online Jeep Games We've been aware of the free, downloadable Jeep games that have been offered on Jeep.com for quite sometime now, but we've never taken the time to really check them out - until now. These are the usual Flash-based games we're talking about, these are fully-downloadable games. Granted, they are usually limited to a single level or two of a bigger game, but they're fun to play nonetheless. We were especially enamored with the "Jeep Trail of Life" game based on the Tomb Raider movie despite the fact that we were able to drive around under water for a few minutes without a visible snorkel.
