This fits in pretty well with all the other information we've been seeing. Want to see a spy shot of the Scrambler? Edmunds.com has this one.

It seems that the Jeep Liberty isn't selling as well as DaimlerChrysler had hoped. Here's a snipped from TheToledoBlade.com:
U.S. sales of Jeep Libertys have nearly stalled as the Ford Escape, Saturn Vue, and Hyundai Santa Fe have picked up speed, leaving inventories of the Toledo-made sport-utility vehicle at a worrisome high.
The Liberty conquered the compact sport-utility vehicle category in 2002 but is in second place so far this year, behind the Escape by more than 5,000 units.
Yet DaimlerChrysler AG isn't concerned about Liberty sales, a spokesman said. The sales took a dive in September, along with those for other Chrysler vehicles, because the automaker primarily was selling 2004s while competitors were offering deep-discounted 2003 models, said David Elshoff.
"You would expect [inventory] stocks to go down as we're selling 2004s against competitors' 2004s," said Mr. Elshoff, adding that '04 Libertys started appearing on dealership lots in July.
Chrysler started October with a 103-day supply - nearly double those of some key competitors - of Libertys on dealership and factory lots. Sales plunged 38 percent in September from the same month last year. Sales for the first nine months of this year compared to last are down 5 percent at 118,549, the automaker said.
