Patriot/Compass Unveiled in Frankfurt

| The first 'real' photos of the Compass and Patriot prototypes are being shown. The Frankfurt Auto show is underway this week, and the vehicles will make their debut. Details are still a bit sketchy, but an article in Car Connection has some info and photos.
Some basics:
They are based on the Dodge Caliber, the Patriot is 173 inches long on a 103.7 inch wheelbase. The Patriot is listed as 'Trail Rated', and could have a 2.4 4 banger or a 2.0 liter diesel. From the writeup, the diesel might be for outside the US. The Compass is slightlly shorter and is aimed more at the 'cross-over' market.
