| Autoblog has a quick article about how the Jefferson North assembly plant in Detroit is being upgraded to soon build both the Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee (they'll soon share a common platform).
The Commander is currently built at Jefferson North - but may not be for long:The Durango/Aspen will evidently share a platform with the Grand Cherokee, while the absence of the soon-to-be-cancelled Commander will free up plenty of space at the Jefferson North plant for all three models, and possibly the yet-to-be-named JC49 crossover.
