From KWTX:Chrysler sales rose 4.3 percent last month, thanks to a sales surge of 20 percent by its Jeep brand.
The automaker's passenger vehicles also include the Dodge and Chrysler nameplates.
US sales by Chrysler's parent company DaimlerChrysler were up 3.9 percent, with the company's Mercedes brand inching up seven-tenths of a percent.
