 SRT GC/Variable Trans for Liberty? |
For those wanting more power in their Grand Cherokee, the 6.1L SRT HEMI SMPI V8 engine has a Job #1 of 11/5/05.
Another interesting item is something listed for the Liberty. Variable line pressure transmission has a job #1 of 12/5/05. Does anyone know what this is?

Re: Variable Line Pressure Trans for Liberty? Basically they don't need full trans fluid pressure to hold the trans in a gear once it's moving so the reduce or bleed the excess off so there is less parasitic loss and improves fuel economy slightly.
