Who doesn't love a good mystery? In addition to all the talk about reducing the number of vehicle nameplates that they offer, Chrysler's vice-chairman and President indicated that the company will be offering 7 new vehicles in 2010. No word on if any of them are Jeeps. Jim - you're such a tease...
President Jim Press declined to name the vehicles in a speech to reporters today in Detroit. The Auburn Hills, Mich.-based automaker's U.S. sales fell 24 percent through August from a year earlier.
The new models will replace overlapping vehicles Chrysler has been eliminating to reduce spending and give its Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler brands clearer identities. Press also said earlier this year that the automaker needs to cut the number of sport-utility vehicles it offers in half.

![]() I am wondering what they mean by "NEW" models. Are they talking totally new cars and trucks or are they talking new versions of existing models. I have a feeling that instead of a Jeep Gladiator what we will probably see is a DUB model of the Wrangler.
