According to the Detroit Free Press, it looks like we might get to see the all new 2007 Wrangler at the 2006 Detroit auto show. This sort of makes sense as they have been showing off the new Wrangler to dealers to get them interested. Also looks like we might get to see the Patriot too. Could be an interesting January...
A couple more rumors has the new 2007 Wrangler Rubicon edition will have an electronic disconnect for the front swaybar.

![]() As far as prcing goes, I'm guessing a starting price of around $18,000 for a bare-bones 'air n' stereo' Wrangler, 4 cyl gas, 6 spd manual trans, command trac 2 door.
I would guess, however, that to not undercut themselves, the top of the line Wrangler 4-door will not exceed the price of a base 4 x 4 Commander, even in Rubicon trim, that is however, just my guess. |

![]() I think they will debut the 4 door in ny because they are not debuting all there cars in one show?????? As far as the gladiator goes..you're looking at a 2008 or 2009 my. This year has the wrangler, 4 door wrangler, patriot and compass. Chrysler will have a pretty big launch of new vehicles and a few from dodge.

![]() Jeep is probably debuting the Wrangler in Detroit, so they can run it on the test track at the Chicago Auto Show, which is right after Detroit.
It will be interesting, I still think more Evolutionary than Revolutionary, a worhty successor to the TJ, and a definite upgrade for OOJ from his YJ Suckmobile...time to get into the 2K's...p.s. OOJ, did you hear that modem speed is now up for 33.6K? |

![]() I am not too sure on the accuracy of this report. So far DCX has only confirmed that the production versions of the Dodge Calibre and the Jeep Compass will be unveiled at Detroit.
