Can someone tell me how it is that I missed the boat on this great commercial? I was watching television last night and this commercial came on and I nearly jumped out of my seat. My wife looked at me like I was crazy and mentioned that she had seen it about 20 times previously. It must have been running for over 2 weeks now, as this was uploaded to YouTube on August 1st. Where have I been?
Regardless, this might be my favorite Jeep commercial of all time. The sheer Forest Gumpedness of it will put a smile on just about anyone's face.
Enjoy.

![]() Great commercial. It's cool that they show the appropriate era Jeep for each segment. It's especially nice to hear Jonathan Edwards' music.

![]() I've seen a slightly shorter version as well. I think the one I saw had the Teletubbies, but definitely not the LOST scene.
Love the Devo vid clip though! Wip it good! This ad and the one with the Paul van Dyk track are the best ads Jeep's put out in years. |

![]() This one is a little longer version of the one I have seen on TV (the one I saw was missing the Teletubbies and the Lost scene).
I love it both for it's Forest Gumpness and for the fact it pays homage to all the old Jeeps. I am glad these new marketing campaigns are focusing on not just the new models. It points out the long heritage and that Jeeps are something you are going to love even after their ten years old. |
