WranglerWrangler Video Roundup
Posted by mike on 2006/9/20 18:24:00 (780) reads

One of our readers Brian_R recently emailed us a list of Chrysler Group media videos on the current Jeep models. Based on this, we thought we'd post some links to various Wrangler videos around the web (including the ones that Brian_R sent us). In the coming weeks, we'll do similar roundups for the other Jeep vehicles.

Official Jeep Media Videos
Capability
The 2007 Jeep Wrangler offers greater ground clearance, larger wheels and tires, enhanced Dana front and rear solid axles, available next-generation Command-Trac and Rock-Trac transfer cases and new electric axle lockers.

Electronic Stability Program (ESP)
Electronic Stability Program (ESP) enhances driver control and helps maintain directional stability under all conditions. It provides the greatest benefit in critical driving situations, such as turns, and is especially valuable when driving on slippery surface conditions, such as snow, ice or gravel. If there's a discernible difference between what the driver asks through the steering wheel and the vehicle's path, ESP will apply selective braking and throttle input to put the vehicle back onto the driver's intended path.

YES Essentials® Seat Fabric
Sahara and Rubicon models feature cloth seats with YES Essentials® Seat Fabric, which offers three key benefits: repelling stains, controlling odor and reducing static electricity. Dual-action technology repels and releases spills that would stain other auto fabrics. This technology also allows the upholstery surface to dry quickly. In addition, YES Essentials seating fabric reduces static electricity generated when entering or exiting the vehicle – a first for improving the comfort of drivers and occupants.

 Re: Wrangler Video Roundup
The first video is for a 2006 TJ-D, neither of the ESP work, and the Yes Essentals link is the same video as the first one. I think someone needs to fix those links. By the way, the Hummer vs XJ vs YJ is hilarious!

That stuff was right from the media site. Nothing like corporate to screw up the clips...

Here is the right YES Essentials clip:

The 2007 Jeep Wrangler ....

Those sure looked like LJ rubi's. Looks like a typo.

BMW/Audi/Jeep. That was the 5.7 in the video....imagine if they put the SRT in there with the 6.1.
