 Speeding Wrangler Helps Plane Land Safely |
This isn't the normal type of story that we report on, but one of our readers emailed us about and it we thought it was too cool to pass up. Here's how "Dak" described it to us:
I saw a news item this morning about a Jeep (YJ) rescuing a small plane. The landing gear on the training plane didn't make it to the proper locking position. The owner of the Jeep drove down the runway with the plane overtop. A passenger used a hook to lock the gear (it took 4 passes). All were safe. Do THAT with a Hummer!Check out the entire story.
