ChryslerGroup posted its latest Jeep Compass commercial on YouTube - it's quite a bit better than the previous "bobblehead" ads.
The ad shows the Compass zooming through a big city - as garbage gets stirred up by its wake, the garbage forms into a transformer-like dude who ends up using the Compass as a skateboard. Check out the eye-candy.

![]() I agree. Showing the vehicle with garbage and it being used as a skateboard is not my idea of good branding for the Jeep brand. It does however do two things that are relevant to the Compass:
1. It is a piece of garbage 2. You may be able to trade in the vehicle for a better skateboard since the Compass is not even a good skateboard. I feel bad for the folks in Jeep Engineering who had to endure working on this thing and bringing it to market. It's just a really bad idea that has not even made a dent in overall sales for the brand. I hope they dump this "vehicle" asap. --TKL UPDATE: Looks like we're not alone here: autoblog thrashing |

![]() I don't know if I'd consider a commercial that associates "Compass" with "garbage" as an improvent, even if it is more watchable.
