This is encouraging news! Does this mean it's a Jeep thing and Jeep is starting to get it? I hope so. I hope the new Wrangler has a Turbo Diesel option.

The funny thing is that girls just love the wrangler, Every girl that I meet says, "I always wanted a jeep" They mean a Cj/Tj jeep. I had to twist my wifes arm to get her to buy a liberty.
I have a wrangler. The liberty is a great road car. It's also a 4x4 for when you want to get off into the forest service type roads. I will never be a rock crawer but it's good to get the groceries. I would love to have a 4 door wrangler. That would be cool. I would much rather get have a Gladaitor if they build it, If they make a Gladaitor it will be my next jeep. Otherwise I will buy a ford f150. It's time to s**t or get off the pot jeep.

I was at the NY auto show this weekend and was very impressed with the Camp Jeep layout. It stole the show, in my opinion. I was about to wait on line for the 60 + minute wait on the indoor track though before I realized I wouldn't be doing the actual driving (Jeep reps were). But the Gladiator was very impressive, as was the Commander (a lot nicer seeing it in person). Also on display was the Grand Cherokee SRT. All in all, worth checking out if you're in the area.

Funny video, 96XJOwner... except its just a broken tie rod... but thats what you get when try to offroad with a Suburban (or whatever GM platform the H2 is based off of...) that is dressed up like an offroader on the outside. Anyone have a link to that video from Camp Jeep last year of the guy who got his H2 stuck on a measly little stump trying to show off in front of the Jeeps and had to have a Jeep pull it off? You realize how pathetic it really is when you see the pictures...

Have to say my first wife hated my Wrangler.
THe woman I'm currently lucky enough to be married to not only loves my Wrangler, top down of course, she went out and bought a Liberty..it's a start!

This is tough on an old guy.When the wife and I take the Liberty instead of the Rubicon on a long highway trip am I to try and get in touch with my feminine side? What's next? Color choice,engine and tire size?Just make it;if it fits my needs I may buy it.

It makes sense to me the demographic difference in the Wrangler and Liberty..I can vouch for it....
