Chrysler's Mopar division debuted a Jeep Patriot Back Country Concept late last month in Paris.
The concept takes a stock Patriot and adds a bunch of Mopar Accessories and other custom additions to give it a more "rugged" look.
Back Country’s exterior boasts a unique Optic Green color along with a variety of MOPAR accessories including a roof top cargo basket adorned with off-road lights, splash guards, 18-inch alloys and special insignias. The blackened B-pillars, body-color door handles and the platinum chrome light bar at the rear complete the crossover’s exterior looks.
The interior was upgraded as well with new materials and colors.

![]() I saw the Compass BC concept, too, but it was worthless. If it was a Rallye Concept with the SRT4 280HP engine and a half-dozen driving lights, with a roll cage, I'd be all over it. But it just remains an embarrassment to the brand.
![]() You're dead nutz right on the tires! How about some LT245-75/16 Goodyear MT/Rs or some 29 X 10.5-15LT Interco Thornbirds? Hell, MOPAR, it's a concept; live a little! ![]() |

![]() Call me crazy, but 18" VW-style wheels mated with low profile, smooth tread tires don't exactly say "back country."
I like how this post doesn't mention the Compass Overland concept. That's not sarcasm, I really like ignoring the compass in hopes that it will go away. Crap, I just mentioned it, didn't I? |
