More changes are coming to the growing Jeep complex on Stickney Avenue. Tuesday afternoon Mayor Jack Ford announced a multi-million-dollar plan to turn the old Stickney Avenue landfill into a 40-acre-vehicle storage area.Check out the entire article.
Union leaders say the facility is necessary to the entire supplier complex. A bridge will be built across Stickney Avenue to drive new jeeps to the vehicle storage lot. The city is helping fund the nearly ten million dollar project through TIF dollars. The supplier plants are scheduled to open by next summer.
