One of our readers sent us in a warning regarding the 1999 Cherokee...

Just a warning to everyone who has purchased the new 1999 Cherokee. The fender skirts are now painted the same color as the vehicle, I went down a gravel road one time and stone chip marks are all over them. I didn't want boards but I have them now or else they would look real bad. The new tires picked up the stones and when you get going fast it throws them out onto the road and they bounce back and hit the lower fender. If you live on a gravel road, you will need mud flaps or running boards.
