Our good friends over at JeepTales.com just reminded us that registration for the 2007 Jeep Jamboree season opens at midnight tonight (11/30/06). According to their newsletter:
I'm predicting the 2007 Texas Spur Jeep Jamboree will sell out by Christmas.
From the feedback I've gotten the Palo Duro Jeep Jamboree will also be a big seller in 2007. You can bet your friends from Team JeepTales will be there.
Please don't get left behind make sure to register early for the Jeep Jamboree that you are planning on attending.
You can get more information or register here.

![]() Before you start dialing, consider going with a club rather than Jeep Jamboree. My friend and I took our Jeeps on the Rubicon Jamboree in 2003 and it wasn't a positive experience.
The organizers oversold the event, leading to long waits on the trail - some over an hour. Also, the group of Jeeps we were in took a few wrong turns and got lost. Nobody from Jeep Jamboree came looking for us, so we arrived at camp long after dark. I went to the main desk to complain, but everyone was too busy drinking to know or care that we had just arrived, didn't get to eat, and didn't know where to camp. Finally I tracked down Mark Smith himself, but he was glassy eyed drunk and didn't care. After the trip I wrote to Jeep Jamboree to complain - I didn't ask for my money back - just an apology. Nobody responded. Avoid Jeep Jamboree! Go with a club. |
