It looks like Jeep assembly plants will be shutting down for a little longer than normal in 1999 due to the Aisan economic crisis. The Detriot News has the whole story...

The Washington Post is reporting that 1998 sales are up a total of 13% over 1997's combined Daimler and Chrysler's sales.
