CommanderAutoWeek Reviews The Commander

AutoWeek has a great review of the new Commander.

Other than a mention that the 3.7L is a bit small for a vehicle of this size (and that the HEMI is the better choice) this review points out all the things that will make the Commander a successful vehicle.

lol. I didn't know my 96 XJ was the final year! I couldn't make myself continue reading after that. Was the review positive or negative? Somebody with a stronger constitution please let me know.

 Re: AutoWeek Reviews The Commander
Well Autoweek certainly seems to think that Jeep did not need another big people hauling SUV. I think they have a point about it being a tad redundant in the Jeep line. I think it will canabalize some of the Grand Cherokee's sales as it (slowly) rolls off of the dealer lots.

Autoweek's point about Jeep's going in two styling directions is well made. Just why does DCX/Jeep feel the need to have the Sqaure retro look and the modern Aero look in their lines?
