WranglerPublic Gets Peek at New Plant for Jeep Wrangler

The Toledo Blade has another nice article and photos of the new plant. Thank Julie McKinnon as she writes a lot of good articles regarding Jeep.

A couple of interesting tidbits:

1) On the CBS national news, they had a piece on vehicle sales, and whined about how Jeep was busy showing off a new gas guzzling Wrangler.

2) In the Toldeo Blade article, there is mention on how the production of the Wrangler was slated for Mexico, unless they made changes to production like they did. Many of us heard this over the years. Think how sad that would be. Can you imagine the American Icon being built in Mexico

3) Also in the aricle, "Other vehicles could be added to the plant", Mr. LaSorda said. Okay Mr. Lasorda, how about building the Gladiator? You know that is what a lot of us want! (ok, I know I'm just dreaming...) I think Jeep did get a lot of us commenting on the Gladiator as in the 'Ask Dr Z' web site, one of the common questions asked was "Will the 2005 Jeep Gladiator concept be made into a production vehicle?"..... maybe take a hint jeep!!!

RE: valid token expired.

This happens to me all the time because I type too slow. Next time it happens just hit your back button on your browser. Right click over your comment and select all. Right click again and copy the text. Go click on post comment and paste your old text into the new comment. A pain in the ass but if you suck at typing-like me- it is wayyyy better than losing what you have typed.
