Want to attend Camp Jeep? Reserver your spot now. Tomorrow is the big day for the Commander.
Camp Jeep 2005 registration is now open and accepting reservations.
This year's event will take place August 12-14, 2005 in the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania.
The biggest news about this year's Camp Jeep is the information that you can have a chance to drive a pre-production 2006 Jeep Commander. This is the first official confirmation we've seen from DaimlerChrysler about the year and name of the soon-to-be-newest member of the Jeep family.
Tomorrow, March 23, is supposed to be the big day for the debut of the Commander. We'll have news and pics as soon as they're available. Chrysler Weblog has some new partly-cammo'd spy shots here.

![]() Hey everyone go to www.detnews.com and click on autos section... The detroit news has the official press relese pictures in the paper and online today... I wish they would drop the electronic 4x4 though.. It's not a bad looking jeep.. Just basically the inside of the new grand with an extra row of seats.. The outside has styling cues of the old cherokee and someone said maybe a hint of liberty up in the headlights and side front quarter panels?? not sure on that one, but at least we have alot better pictures to look at now.

![]() AutoWeek also has photos of the 2006 Grand Cherokee SRT-8. This vehicle will not be trail rated but should blow the doors off the new TrailBlazer SS.
