In case you haven't noticed - the 2007 Wrangler is a sales hit. Compared with November 05, sales of the Wrangler almost doubled to just under 9,000 units. Whether this is due more to pent-up demand for the new Wrangler (probably) or reaction to the great reviews, it doesn't really matter. In the meantime, Liberty sales were flat, while Grand Cherokee sales dropped over 40%. The Commander also posted a nice gain over November 05, its sales more than doubled (to be fair, Commander production was still ramping up this time last year).
Here's a quote from the Chrysler Group press release:
Sales of the Jeep Wrangler, a direct descendant of the original Jeep vehicle, rose 95 percent to 8,735 units, setting a new November sales record. Previous year sales of the Jeep Wrangler totaled 4,482 units. The Jeep Wrangler has received in excess of 62,000 dealer orders, which exceeds three- quarters of total Jeep Wrangler sales in calendar year 2005.
Full Jeep sales numbers after the jump.

![]() While they are celibrating the Wrangler surge ...
They should think about why total Commander plus Grand C are off Guessing most Commander people are simply former Grand folks -- Not Chevy or Ford converts |

![]() Do not let that lone 2007 Wrangler Unlimited X model on the dealer lot fool you, they purposely leave on to be able to show and test drive so they can sell a ton of Saharas and Rubicons on order. My local dealer did the same thing with the Chrysler 300 when it first came out..

![]() If the Wrangler and Compass could manage to sustain this month's level of sales I think it would cause a brand design shift back towards rugged off-roaders and away from car-based econo boxes like the Compass. Unfortunately, the Wrangler sales numbers are probably just pent up demand for the new model that will subside after a few months.

![]() Incentives are for cars that are not selling, should be no real surprise to anyone who is looking for the new wrangler. We got an email from corporate dcx saying all 2006 rebates, dealer cash and aprs are ending on tuesday, this may bring many angry owners/dealers to dcx and they may cave in...time will tell

![]() Is it too early to determine how or if the Unlimited Wrangler has affected Hummer H3's sales?
