Detriot News is reporting that the base price for the Jeep Patriot will be $14,985 making it the least expensive Jeep in the lineup.
The new 2007 Jeep Patriot compact sport utility vehicle, a boxier version of the Jeep Compass introduced earlier this year, will be priced starting at $14,985, including a $560 destination fee, DaimlerChrysler AG's Chrysler Group said today.
That pricing will make Patriot be the least expensive model in Jeep's lineup.
The compact SUV hits showrooms this month and is the last in a record 10 new cars and trucks launched this year by the Auburn Hills-based automaker.
Chrysler is aiming the vehicle at younger, entry-level Jeep buyers in an attempt to expand the Jeep lineup and the brand's consumer base.

![]() "...said John Berry, sales manager at a Chrysler Jeep dealership in Florida. The "affordable" pricing and the vehicle's "classic Grand Cherokee" design could result in a hit for Chrysler, he said..." WRONG! The Patriot was designed toward the classic CHEROKEE design, NOT Grand Cherokee design... and that guy is a sales manager for a Chrysler Jeep dealership??? |
