FacilitiesDana Bankruptcy Won't Affect Jeep Production

The Toledo Blade is reporting that Dana Corporation's bankruptcy proceedings won't affect production at Chrylser Group's production facilities.

Dana Corp.'s bankruptcy will have no effect on establishing a Toledo factory preparing to supply parts to Toledo Jeep Assembly complex, spokesmen for the companies say.

Because the factory, which eventually is to have 85 employees, is part of a contract with DaimlerChrysler AG, special permission from U.S. Bankruptcy Court in New York is not needed, said Dana spokesman Chuck Hartlage. "We have to get the factory up and running."

It is sad that all of these auto parts makers are going out of buisness or going bankrupt. i just hope that DANA doesn't go the way of the dinosaur.
