Thanks to eagle-eyed reader jeepxk for noticing the the CRD badge on one of the Wrangler from the previous article's photos!
jeepxk posted his find in the reader reaction area - that's how we found out about it! This find leads to even more questions - are these photos from some testing of some 2007 Wrangler variants at the Superlift Offroad Vehicle Park in Arkansas?

When the 2.2-liter OM651 Mercedes is available in 2010, it eventually will replace all the VM Motori engines. |

![]() Sounds exciting - but if you scroll through the other pictures from "http://www.spydercustoms.com/index2.php" you'll notice that they were testing a 2-door euro-model (it has the plastic "fill-in" between the bumper and the fender). This shot that shows "CRD" is likely from that Jeep. That is, if the pictures from that site are from the same test group. I couldnt see the number on the windshield of the euro-jeep.

![]() CRD blah blah blah....we've heard about this several times and right now, all that we know is that they're probably meant for testing for markets outside of North America.....
Now with that said, when will it become available for us?!?!?!? Come on DCX!!!! Do I really need to buy one from AEV Conversions? |
