The folks over at Autoblog.com got some nice photos of a custom Jeep Compass at SEMA. The "Jeep MK49 Compass Rallye" seems to have a lot of the features that Jeep left out of the production model that would have quelled some of the complaints that current Jeep owners have been voicing.
Does the MK49 Compass Rallye butch it up? You bet it does. It certainly looks ready to go tackle some tall brush and kick up a little gravel. While there are no engine mods (what?!?!?!), the suspension's been dialed in by the wizards at SRT and a strut-tower brace has been added. We fully dig the wheels and Yokohoma rubber, as well as the HID driving lamps, which should totally be an option on the Compass. In fact, this whole car is what the Compass should have been to begin with. If the engine were tuned we'd be more impressed. Are you listening, Jeep?

![]() Have you guys looked over at Jeep.com? They put the 2.0L in the compass 4x2. Also I noticed that the Patriot now says early 2007 instead of fall 2006. Am I the only one this is news to?
