yes yes... this is actually a jeep, but thank god it will never go into production. as for what the other guy said, this is a JJ concept, and if you dont belive me, pick up the book the story of jeep and check out the color insert in the middle. This is a jeep mixed with that euro renault crap, but as you can see, its more euro then jeep. this car was as dumb as an idea to build as the PT cruiser, which by the way is a 4 cylinder neon in disguise.

Oh, boy, another grocery getter that wants to be a 4x4.

Any TRUE Jeep onwer knows that ALL Jeep products will have the seven grate grill. Although this dose appear to be a Chrysler Product, and it dose look like a Jeep, I dont think they would ever release this.

Yes, it's old. Yes, it's ugly... but I see some cues here that lead to the Liberty... they just replaced the YJ-ish looking grill with a TJ-ish grill and came out with the wagon version first... I just hope a two-door Liberty look-alike is NOT the TJ replacement!

here is my comment I am realy loosing faith in DC, the ideas are getting worse and worse!This thing looks so stupid, the KJ is at least better looking, and that is not saying much.

Its a JEEP thing ! And the designers At Jeep(young grasshoppers) DON'T UNDERSTAND. They are trying to make the Wrangler even more like a car. When Jeep designers gave the Wrangler a car-like dash with airbags and other stuff. I Had a feeling the next Wranglers would be even more car-like and less JEEP!

YUCK!!! They call that thing a JEEP! It looks like a Chevy Tracker! I had a bad feeling when Chrysler mereged with Damlair,I knew the JEEP would change. What are these IDOTS smoking? What has made the JEEP different is that JEEP has always been on of a kind. It has stood out from the pack. JEEP is the best 4x4 ever, no questions asked. Now they who think they know how to build a Jeep have realy messed up. I sure hope that "thing" never goes into production.

here is my comment The new jeep looks like a tracker or some other imported fake jeep. I have a 94 wrangler and I love it. I do like the new tj's but I can't afford one right now , but once I finish college I plan to get one. I think the Jeep company will lose alot of loyal customers if they stop making the basic wrangler or it's next generation, and goto the trash in the spy photo. Go University of Florida Gators.

I think Jeep is using it for ideas about the new intergrated top. But I hope they dont use it for ANY styling cues. Thats the Jeep that would have been made if the Japs won WWII. All digital dash, bells, wistles, 1.3 L engine, low clearance, car tires, Bright colors, and cheap parts. Oh I forgot about the Factory options: 3" lowering kit, Low profile wide tires w/ spinners, neon underbody lighting and dont forget the Oversized 'Kicker" exhaust pipe....Giddie Up!!!

Thats not a jeep, note the leafs in the back and how low it is. someone just decided to dress up there car, thats it.

This is definatly the JJ from the Chrysler & Renault mixup of a few years ago. But thank God that it is just that. The fact that hideous vehicle hasn't been distroyed is a testament to how bad Jeep is getting. Just look at it. Are they hiring 12 year olds to draw the cars in study hall on notebook paper? It looks like the Jeep Wrangler and the Geo Tracker convertable had a child that was exposed to massive amounts of radiation. Jeep is really going down the drain. Buy your TJ's now.

here is my comment: What the h*ll are they thinking? I sincerely hope that Jeep is not planning on destroying their good name by releasing that thing. It is hideous. And judging by what you can see in the picture. It has Independent suspension. Chrysler is destroying Jeep as we know it. Jeep needs to make its own company.

here is my comment...It seems like the model of the JJ from Renault/ Chrysler merger concept from the early 1990's ( since it has square headlights).
There's an artist rendition of a concept car that really does resemble this Jeep on page 237 of Patrick Fosters "The story of Jeep." I still believe the new jeep will be closer looking to the Icon.

That thing is hideous! Who was the genius who thought that one up? He should be shot. If they make that into a production model i'll lose my love affair with the wrangler. The TJ is great. Can't wait to get one!
