You guys are uptight.
Why does everyone worry so much about the "soccer mom" and what she drives?
Just drive what you like and not worry about what other people choose. I am not, not going to buy something that I really want and like just because some group of people like it also. You must admit that you see alot of Lesbians driving Wranglers. Or what if it was a Lesbian soccer mom driving a Wrangler, then what would you do. Not buy one?

I said nothing about not buying.
Just making reference to how the lineup is changing to move towards a new demographic.
I couldn't care less what soccer moms and lesbians drive. There's room for everyone in a Jeep. Literally.

...now if only they'd make coin-holders that actually fit Canadian currency!!! Is a penny-holder really necessary? Who uses THAT? Give me one that holds dollar and two-dollar coins!

So the Liberty, the Compass and the Patriot are all marketed towards women in general. The Grand Cherokee and the Commander are marketed towards soccer moms (women too, most of the time ;)). The last refuge for a man in a Jeep is the Wrangler. How long before that comes with a lipstick holder and shoe rack?

In terms of marketing, when men start wearing the pants in the family and become the primary decision maker when it comes to vehicles choices, Jeep will start marketing towards them again. In terms of personal opinion, I buy what I please. I don't need some commercial to tell me what I should and shouldn't buy and don't get too bothered if I find something i like that happens to be marketed towards someone else. If you are worried about image just wait until the soccer mom of tomorrow emerges with her 2WD Wrangler Unlimited. Maybe you can put spare change in the lipstick holder they're going to demand.
