MiscellaneousJeep.com Redesign

The Jeep.com web site has undergone a minor redesign. The redesign switches the navigation to the left.

This might indicate that there was not enough room across the top for listing all the vehicles. Could this be an indication that the Patriot is a go? ... that the Gladiator is a go? Or could this just be the ad agency switching things up.

Anyone else notice that the URL for the Build & Price for the Compass you end up at www.designyourjeep.com? I've tried poking around / guessing other URLs but they don't work. The next few weeks should be exciting!

it's still fairly slow and clunky, even on fiber and a fairly good PC, with way too much flash. And they're still using the same old 3rd-grader level Photoshops of the JK instead of REAL photos. And the link to build/price the JK doesn't work.

You can price the Compass though... just for fun I priced a decked-out Limited w/nearly every option (4wd, CVT, Sirius, 6-disc+MP3, iPod connect, GPS nav, 9-speaker sound, sunroof, etc) and it was just under $27K. If they price the Patriot the same, it'll be a pretty nice little car for the money,

CanJeepYJ:

Any details on Patriot? Price? Equipment? When will it be unveiled? When will it be produced?

Thanks.

No I don't know price or equipment...I just got the press release for the New York Auto Show the other day.

The Patriot will be there come mid April.

Two comments:

The patriot is a go.
It will look like the concept but without the running boards on top of the vehicle.
Well, the car that they are showing at the NYAS will not have them.

Second, they redesigned the www.jeep.com becasue they also redesigned dodge.com and chrysler.com at the same time with the nav for the cars all being on the left.

Along with the pages redesign, they NEED to redesign the front of the Compass. And lets hope its the Gladiator showing up. (though, I like the Patriot, too)

I really hope it's because the Patriot is a "GO!" I'd much rather see my wife drive the Patriot over the Compass. Heck, I'd much rather see myself drive her Patriot -vs.- the Compass!

The interior was added to the 360 degree viewer for the '07 Wrangler as well.
