SalesChrysler Vehicle Bank Drops Below 10,000
Posted by Anonymous on 2007/1/8 10:42:01 (751) reads

It appears from this article from the Detroit Free Press that Chrysler Group "vehicle bank" levels have returned to normal.

We're not 100% sure if this is the same as their overall inventory, but it seems like good news regardless.

If you can provide any additional details, let us know.

From a comment posted under the Free Press article

"chrysler group dealer

What your article does not say is that some dealers were paid $2500 per unit and more to take the vehicles off of sales bank. Dealers that were overstocked from helping the factory out on previous purchase programs were at a disadvantage against dealers who were able to buy. This will set up a two tiered pricing bloodbath in the marketplace between dealers as they try to unload the product.

Bad move Chrysler."
