Chrysler Group announced today a new incentive program highlighted by up to $2,500 consumer cash on select 2002 model year Chrysler, Jeep® and Dodge vehicles. The seven-year/100,000-mile powertrain protection plan on all Chrysler Group vehicles remains in effect until March 31.
The new incentive program runs through February 28.
"We're not taking our foot off the accelerator when it comes to providing customers with great product, world-class quality and unbeatable value," said Jim Schroer, Executive Vice President - Global Sales and Marketing. "This new program gives them all three -- innovative cars and trucks, an engine and transmission protection plan that emphasizes quality and durability, and attractive cash incentives that keep us competitive with the rest of the industry."
"The heart of the new program keeps the focus on brand value and product attributes," Schroer added. "Called the 'Chrysler Advantage,' 'Jeep Promise' and 'Dodge Edge,' the emphasis is on providing buyers a great value on outstanding cars and trucks, each one backed by a long-term commitment to quality, innovation and durability,"
Consumer cash of $2,500, or reduced APR financing, is available on Dodge and Chrysler minivans, (excluding the eC, eL and eX models); the Jeep Grand Cherokee (excluding the Sport model); and the Dodge Durango. Consumer cash of $1,500 is available on the rest of Chrysler Group's lineup of cars, trucks and SUVs, except the Dodge Intrepid, with $2,000 consumer cash, and the Jeep Wrangler, with $500 consumer cash.
Excluded from the national consumer cash portion of the program are the Chrysler PT Cruiser and the Jeep Liberty.

![]() Well you asked, so here i am the traditionalist Jeeper with the rebuttle.
So I suspect they are giving the WJ a incentive package because it is a aging beast much like the ultimate SUV the XJ. Well I supose that means its time to kill it off and replace it with the 2003 Grand Liberty, featuring liberty inspired IFS, Ford Exploder inspired IRS, Lexus RX300 AWD, economical power provided by the honda inspired 4cylinder with JEEtec much like Vtec, and the traditional 7 slot grill with round lights. The perfect addition to every soccer moms garage. I'm sure they'll have a Chief, Pioneer, and Honcho packages because that pays tribute to Jeeps of yesteryear. TRASH TRASH TRASH!!! You think your KJ is so great and wonderful and you finally found something to replace that aging Xterra in your garage, well it isn't. The looks are on the same level with the capability, the shi@!y level. You want proof? www.trailready.com makes armor for every jeep CJ, XJ, YJ, TJ, ZJ, and WJ. Now they are developing their KJ model. You know the first thing they are doing to there KJ testbed model, giving it a Dana 44 solid front axle from a TJ. They said flat out that IFS isn't capable for what thier products are designed for. If you can't read between the lines "K.J." that means a reputable jeep aftermarket manufacture says your suspesion is shit, not jeep worthy. They have to get the axle out of a aging TJ to fix your brand new KJ. Go chew on that. So thats my 2 cents. Also I do go dear hunting. I enjoy it. If no one dear hunted there would be a overpopulation of deer. Consider us crowd control that makes sure the deer are on our roofs dead and not in front of your brand new KJ thats going 60 down the interstate and about to have a deer through the windshield. As long as your whining about the enviroment, i also own a Jeep Scrambler that is straight piped from the headers to the back of the Jeep. It makes tons of noise polution, and its a archaic engine that im sure puts out more hydrocarbons than you can count. HA! []|||||||[] SOLID AXLE FOREVER REAL JEEPS HAVE 2 SOLID AXLES -Griff01xj |
