In poking around the latest production scheduling information, I see the Liberty is listed with a Turbo Diesel scheduled for 'job #1' (begin build date) as of December 12. Does anyone have any details on this engine option?

![]() The engine is the same as has been used for the last two model years, but with manual trans! As for the 5.7l, they are going to offer it on base Commander and Laredo Grand Cherokee. Hope this helps...

![]() No idea on the turbo diesel info. However, why does that site list for the Commander "5.7L engine has a Job #1 of 12/1/05"
I know this was not true as I have seen 5.7L Hemi's on the Commander before 12/01/2005. |
