It is being reported that construction of the new Jeep plant in Toledo, Ohio will begin this August. The first Jeep to be manufactured in the new plant will be the redesigned 2001 Jeep Cherokee.

  the the list you have on designations seems to be missing the MB,  GPW, M38 and M38A1, probably because they are military Jeeps, CJ2A, 3A  and 3B were civilian as was the "J "Series pickup...
