Canadian automotive enthusiast site Auto123 had a chance a to take a new Liberty out on the Jeep Jamboree.
Their results were pretty much what can be expected... a few playful jabs from the old-time Jeepers, a few scrapes to the factory skid plates (that IS what they are there for), but a truly capable off-road vehicle.
The editor mentions wanting to take a Commander and a 1950's Willys Wagon out on a Jeep Jamboree. I look forward to the reviews if he does.

![]() This article pretty well matches my experience. We've now driven our 05 KJ over the worst roads we've done in several XJs or a WJ. The KJ has done great, and it does have the best dust seals we've ever had. We crawled through the Taylor Burn area in the Oregon Cascades through tons of dust, and I barely had to wipe the dash afterward. I don't go looking for trouble, but we explore back country on our own, and don't have help to get unstuck. I'm very pleased with our stock KJ.

![]() I guess it's no surprise I liked that article and had already read it. I know I'd get from more jeepers if I still had my YJ, but I like my KJ just as much.
