One of our readers sent us in a report that he heard from a dealership that 4-Door Wrangler Unlimiteds will be hitting the dealerships in January, 2007.
the 4 door Wrangler is getting Job 1 August 28th. He didn't expect to see any at the dealership until January, which seemed odd.

![]() More info:
The 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited will be sold in more than 100 countries throughout the world, in both left- and right-hand-drive models. Wrangler Unlimited will be available with a new 3.8-liter V-6 engine and a diesel engine will also be available for key diesel markets outside of North America. Built at Chrysler Group’s Toledo Assembly Plant in Toledo, Ohio, the 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited will arrive in U.S. Jeep dealerships in the fall of 2006, and will follow to international markets starting in the first half of 2007. The idea for the Unlimited came from the popularity of a long-wheelbase model sold in Egypt. |

![]() A dealer I talked to about a month ago told me that NONE of the '07 Wranglers would be here (Chattanooga, TN) until around Jan or Feb. Could that be true depending on area? I would assume more of the bigger markets (CA and NY) would probably get the first few orders than some of the places in the South. I hope that's not true.
I'm going to call other dealers in my area and see what they say. |

![]() I have been told by my dealership that orders should be able to be placed early July. I am guessing late August, early September to arrive at dealerships.

![]() I don't think it's so much trying to scare the public as a salesman trying to move the '06 s he has on the lot.
CanJeepYJ-Where did you get the production schedule info? |

![]() Code...Year .… SOP .….. EOP ……… Vehicle
JK .......2007… 07-06… 07-07… Wrangler 4-door JK.…....2007 .. 08-06… 07-07… Wrangler 2-door "SOP" = "Start of Production" ("MM/YY" as in 07-06= July 2006) "EOP" = "End of Production" ("MM/YY" (as in 07-06= July 2006) There is no way it will only reach dealers in Jan. The Caliber took only a month or so...the same will be true here. Don't scare the public mike ![]() |
