One of our readers found these photos on an itailan web site - are they real or just really good Photoshop jobs? We're not sure, but they're pretty nice to look at.

Compass Rallyee and Patriot

The web site is in italian - here'a quick translated snippet:
Here the first images of the two [new] Jeep[s] introduced to the Hall of Frankfurt, that September opens the doors to the public one from the 17 to the 25.

As we had anticipated, draft of two compact, long cars approximately four meters and 40 cm and high ones between 1,64 and 1,67, with integral traction, but of automotive formulation [?] before the time for Jeep.

I like the patriot a lot. I hope that it is available with a diesel and 6 speed. That would be a sweet daily driver. I could save my Wrangler for the trails.

Only two more weeks of waiting to find out more about these vehicles. Of course, who knows how long we will have to wait for the production vehicle specs and release dates.

I wouldn't doubt it. These photos are a bit too slick to be "shopped". You can see alot of "Caliber" in the Compass; and the same can be said of Patriot. Alot of "Compass" in the Patriot.
It's interesting to see fresh, affordable Jeeps. Why not bring the legacy of Jeep to the whole world? Not everyone has $30-$40K laying around for a Commander you know....................... And with these GAS Prices....I mean even I; OnlyOneJeep- is driving 55MPH on the Interstate..............
