Want a Commander? How About a Free One?

Jeep and Geocaching team up for a giveaway.

Interested in getting a new Jeep Commander when they debut later this year? How about getting a free one?

DaimlerChrysler and Geocaching.com are running a contest where the grand prize is just that - a Jeep Commander. Here's a snippet:

From May 2, 2005 – October 31, 2005, you will have the opportunity to win an all-new 2006 Jeep Commander—the first 7 passenger Trail Rated Jeep 4X4. One Grand-Prize Jeep Commander vehicle will be awarded in a drawing taking place on November 15, 2005.

One of the more interesting tidbits about the sweepstakes is that in the confirmation email, the approximate MSRP of the Jeep Commander is $32,000. This puts in right in the same price range as the Grand Cherokee - a bit lower than the rumors.
