The Jeep Compass marketing machine just keeps on rolling...

Chrysler Group recently announced that it has created a MySpace page as well as a Facebook page (we're not a facebook user, so if anyone can provide us with the correct URL, we'd appreciate it) to help get the word out about the all-new Jeep Compass.

In addition to providing information about the vehicle, users can add the Jeep pages as a "friend" to get information about upcoming Jeep Compass-sponsored concerts in their area.

According to the advertising agency who is running the campaign, they are looking to "fish where the fish are" instead of trying to direct people to the Jeep.com site.

Here's the full quote:
Instead of trying to drive that audience to Jeep.com or a separate tour site, Jeep agency Organic decided "to fish where the fish are," according to Chuck Sullivan, group director and engagement manager at Organic, part of Omnicom Group.
Here's the entire article.

I saw the Jeep Compass facebook page a couple days ago - trust me, I gasped when I saw it. I'm right in the target age for this vehicle but this page is not for me...

Anyone with a facebook account just search for Jeep, and it comes right up.
